The Sama Gazette launched, new layout for Maxdana.com Posted on Aug 31, 2009 A quick post about the Sama Gazette: the News Website has officially launched and everyone can now have access to it. It has been months in the working but The Sama Team has finally tied up the loose ends on this project and has launched the Samagazette.com. Note that you can also follow the Sama Team on Twitter. I hope you will enjoy the place and the content There is also some news about my official website. It got a new layout, I switched it from black to white with updated content, and it is much better this way. I will give you some news about my upcoming show in the September. I think this time it will be very different from everything I have ever done. You will know soon! ^_^ Leonard Cohen: poetry and musicality for all of eternity Posted on Aug 17, 2009 Leonard Cohen holds an important place in my life, from an early age. I clearly remember ‘Hallelujah’ and even if at this time, I didn’t understand a word of what he was saying, I was already fascinated by Cohen’s voice. His tenor, half-octave voice perfectly fits his music and the meaning of his lyrics. That was years after ‘Hallelujah’ that I finally discovered one of the many Leonard Cohen’s talent, not to say his first and original one: poetry. And it came as no surprise since I have always been captivated by the musicality of his music. So when I got an old English version of ‘The Spice-Box of Earth’, everything was so clear. Poetry. I borrowed the book from a friend and read it all in one day. I don’t remember exactly the content but I remember this feeling I had. It was like I traveled to another dimension, another… |
